The AMLI Debugger resides within the checked build of acpi.sys. In order to fully perform AML debugging, this driver must be installed on your target computer. The free build of acpi.sys does not contain the AMLI Debugger itself, although it does support some of the AMLI Debugger extensions.
If you are running the checked build of Windows on your target computer, then the checked driver is already installed.
If you are running the free build, you must either install the entire checked build of Windows, or simply install the checked version of acpi.sys.
